Following the success of our previous student recitals (2015-2018) as well as our student performances at the UofT Festival of Dance at Hart House Theatre (2015- 2018) and at Youth Day Toronto (2015), Ballet Espressivo students who are enrolled in the Performance Classes (see below) will once again be performing works choreographed by Donna Greenberg at the UofT Festival of Dance 2019 at Hart House Theatre on the weekend of March 29 and 30, 2019 (performance date t.b.a).
This is a wonderful opportunity for Ballet Espressivo students to discover what it is like to perform in an established theatre as part of a dance festival.
Students will learn how to study, prepare, and perform a choreographic work by Ballet Espressivo’s Donna Greenberg, Director/Teacher/Choreographer. They will have the opportunity to work on various technical and aesthetic aspects as well as develop their individual expressive abilities within the framework of an ensemble piece.
This year we are combining all levels of Ballet Espressivo ballet students into one group class for any of our students who wish to experience the above.
** All students must be registered in either one or more of our ballet classes for the Spring 2019 session in order to register for this class.
